Recover at a Pace Individualized for You with Short-Term Rehabilitation
Regents Park of Boca Raton’s short-term rehab program is specifically designed for individuals who have been in the hospital and want to transition home after a short stay with us for rehabilitation.
The rehabilitation programs are designed for adults of all ages and diagnoses. Typical patients include those who have had elective orthopedic surgery, functional decline after hospitalization, cardiac surgery or heart attack, or any other surgery or illness that leaves them weakened.
The care and caring from our nursing and rehabilitation team can help cut down on days spent in a hospital as well as the number of days required in rehab. Our focus is also to avoid further hospitalizations.
Soon after admission to Regents Park Boca, our interdisciplinary team evaluates patients and an individualized plan of care is developed for each person to meet his or her particular needs. Our rehab unit is a separate and distinct unit with a separate dining and activity center.
The rehab team includes professionals in the following areas:
- Respiratory therapy
- Occupational therapy
- Physical therapy
- Speech therapy
- Wound care team
- Social services
Additional services we provide:
- Pet therapy
- Transportation arrangements
- Flat-screen TVs, private showers and oxygen delivery systems silently piped in from behind the wall, the same way hospitals do so that no one's sleep is interrupted by the rattle of bedside machinery.
- Happy Hour socializing weekly.
The rehab team at Regents Park Boca Raton recognizes that every patient does want to go home — sooner rather than later. We want that as well, but we want to ensure that when patients do go home they’re stronger, safer and feel confident in their abilities to manage in their own home setting.
Please come and tour. We will be happy to introduce you to our rehab team and show you our rehab unit.
